Hits Hermes

How could I have possibly been so naive to think that I wasn't obsessed with holo polishes? That somehow I could have resisted their gorgeous rainbow goodness for long? Oh yes, it's happened. I'm officially in love with the prism-tastic finish of holos.

Hits Hermes is a gorgeous pale gold holographic that feels classy and sophisticated while also like a mini party on your nails when the sunshine hits your manicure! This is one of those times where I didn't want to stop polishing my nails because it looks like liquid gold when you're applying it! The following swatch is three coats of Hermes along with an OPI Nail Envy base and no top coat. I didn't want to risk dulling the holo effect at all so I held off on top coat until after I took pictures!

The only complaint I have about this polish is the brush. The formula was great and applied evenly and smoothly, but the brush was gigantic and made me feel like I had tiny little skinny nails. And coming from someone who absolutely adores the OPI Pro-Wide brush, that's saying something! But even the large brush won't stop this polish from earning a permanent spot in my collection. It's fabulous and if you don't have a pale gold holo, you need one!

What's your favorite polish finish? Do you own any holographics? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading!
