Bath and Body Works Fresh Picked Hand Cream Review 2.0

Product Name: Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Hand Cream
Price: $5.00 for 2oz ($2.50 per ounce)
Where to Buy: Bath & Body Works
Main Moisturizing Ingredients: Shea Butter, Vitamin E
Available Fragrances: Sweet Clementine, Heirloom Cranberries, Farmstand Apple, Fresh Strawberries, Fresh Tangerines, First Bloom
Additional Details: This product is not tested on animals

First Impression: The packaging on this tube is beautiful. Whomever did the graphic design work picked a perfect combination of three fonts that compliment each other and give the main logo a vintage but high end feeling. There's also some juicy fresh clementines in the background, all set over top of a parchment looking base. I love Bath & Body Works's flip tops because they seal tightly and dispense just the right amount of product every time.

Absorption Rate: The cream took approximately twenty three seconds to rub into my hands, and felt completely absorbed within one minute.

I know, I know! You probably read the title of this post and thought "You're reviewing the same hand cream... twice?" Ugh, yes it does sound that way doesn't it? Well, I swear I have stuff to talk about, and the first thing is that the Sweet Clementine scent smells out of this world delicious! I'm talking "might have to buy a backup" yummy! The scent is fresh, crisp, classic tangy orange with a hint of sweetness that really reminds you of peeling a ripe clementine.

Now if you remember from my initial review of the "fresh picked" hand cream I mentioned that the texture varied quite a bit between the four original scents when they first came into stores. It seems that Bath & Body Works has worked to fix this variation because the consistency of this product is thick, creamy, and pretty much identical to the Fresh Strawberries cream I already own, along with the Vanilla Buttercream Hand Cream I reviewed on Tuesday! So if you're a fan of the formula you now have over sixteen fragrances to choose from across the basic $5 hand cream lines.

The $5.00 price tag isn't the most economical price I've reviewed this month, but as an employee of Bath & Body Works (in a fill-in/floor set capacity) I can tell you that I've seen them run specials and daily deals on hand cream before, including, if I remember correctly, a 2/$5 deal. So if you're on a budget and love this product keep an eye out for promotions and of course coupons! There is usually always a 20% off or more coupon running, or even a free item coupon sometimes.

Purchase or Pass?: If you love citrus scents and especially orange scents, you need this hand cream in your life! The cream itself is a nice quality and the tube is perfectly purse sized. I say that this is a great purchase and I'll probably be picking up a second tube!

What do you think of this product? Is it something you've tried or are interested in trying? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading!
