First Impression: I am absolutely smitten with the packaging! It's an attractive bright orange plastic tube covered in little hearts and an attractive serif font. The tube describes it as "The fruity fantastico. Feel scintillated as my tropical aromas of juicy mango fused with sweet succulent papaya leave your senses exotically exhilarated; believe me, you never thought fruits were so delicious!". Um.. that sounds super amazing and appealing to me! The only packaging downside I found was that the black flip top doesn't screw off, so this will have to be a "cut me open" package when there isn't enough product to squeeze out from the flip top.

Absorption Rate: The cream took approximately forty seconds to rub into my hands, and felt completely absorbed within about one minute.

I absolutely love the scent of this product! Based on the packaging and the quick sniff I did in store I thought it would be a pretty sweet, candy mango scent. I was pleased to find that it was in fact fruity, but one I applied it the richer tones in the fragrance took over and I found the scent very appealing. Cute packaging without smelling like a complete gumball? Yes please! I was impressed with how quickly the product spread and was absorbed, and I liked the consistency. It's thicker than a standard lotion but not thick enough to be called a cream, so I think it has been named properly as a "super soft hand lotion" on the package. When you open the flip top there's a fairly small hole to dispense the product. At first I thought I wouldn't like this, but the more I used this product the more I realized the smaller opening allowed me to further control the amount of hand lotion I wanted to use. We've all been in the spot where you've applied too much lotion and have to either suddenly moisturize your arms, or find someone to share with! Although my hands felt refreshed and soft after using this lotion they also had a feeling of a slight residue. Nothing extreme or annoying, you just probably wouldn't want to touch a delicate fabric like silk right away, or rub your hands all over a leather handbag. After a few minutes this feeling dissipated and I was still left with moisturized hands that smelled fruity without being overpowering. This hand lotion also did a pretty good job of adding moisture to my cuticles and keeping them soft for as long as it was keeping the rest of my hands soft! The moisture had good lasting power as well; Even an hour and a half later my hands still felt moisturized and soft, with a hint of fragrance.

Purchase or Pass?: This product really gets an enthusiastic "Purchase!" from me because it's everything I like in a lotion: cute packaging, fun scent, and lasting moisture. Plus it's readily available in drugstores and online and is available in seven scents so you're sure to find one that appeals to you! When I switch to my larger winter/fall handbag this lotion is definitely going to be one that I carry around with me.
