Additional Details: Pacifica products are 100% vegan and are not tested on animals. They are free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, peanut oil, and artificial colors.

First Impression: The scent I purchased was "Indian Coconut Nectar" and it smells completely divine to a coconut lover like myself. The packaging is gorgeous and looks high end and pretty to keep on your bedside table or in your purse.

Absorption Rate: The cream took approximately two minutes and forty seconds to rub into my hands, and felt completely absorbed within four minutes.

The product has a creamy texture without being thick, and leaves my hands feeling soft and refreshed. I found myself reaching for the tube whenever I was waiting in the car or on a longer car ride, being that it takes a few minutes to work into your hands. Despite the long absorption time it feels very pampering and I liked that little "me" moment in my day.  I didn't particularly like this product for my night routine; It was lacking for overnight moisture that lasted. As for the fragrance.. it was light enough to not be overwhelming or alert a crowd that you're using a scented product, but concentrated enough to where your hands still smell summery and like coconuts on closer inspection. I personally own another Pacifica Body Butter in "Hawaiian Ruby Guava" in the larger 8oz size and whenever I use it as a body lotion I really love how long my skin stays moisturized. In the grand scheme of things I think this product performs better as a daily body moisturizer than as a hand cream, since your hands tend to lose moisture faster than your body due to washing your hands or just using your hands more in general.

Purchase or Pass?: I picked this product up at T.J. Maxx in the smaller 2.5oz size for $3.99 which I considered to be a steal. If you're fond of Pacifica products or just love a great smelling hand lotion that does a good job of moisturizing on the go, I'd recommend checking some of these scents out in store. If you can snag a tube for a discounted price I would definitely suggest you pick it up! But if you're looking for a hand cream that will absorb very quickly without any greasy feeling, or an overnight hand cream, you should probably skip this one.
