White and Nude Ruffian Manicure

This post contains press samples sent to me by Pure Ice PR.

Ruffian manicures along with nude nails were a staple at many shows during NYFW, and I was especially inspired by the Jenni Kane manicure designed by OPI! They used OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons and Alpine Snow, but being that I don't own either of those colors I made due with ones I already had in my collection.

My version isn't quite as tidy as I free-handed the nude half of the manicure over top of my white base from Monday. I used Sally Hansen Cafe Au Lait and Pure Ice Superstar. I think it might have turned out a bit better if I had layered the half moons on top of the nude base rather than the other way around.

Even though it's not perfect I still really love how it turned out! The nail look feels modern but classic, and you'll have to check up on the blog later for a second post on how I jazzed this simple look up further!

Were you inspired by any Fashion Week manicure looks? Let me know in the comments! Thanks for reading!
