Gild & Green

I hope you all had safe and happy holidays, and spent time with family and friends. In past years I've done skittle manicures with stamping and 3D elements for my Christmas manicure, but this year I've really been enjoying simple nails so I chose a design that reflected my current polish tastes.

I went for an easy accent nail manicure with OPI Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow as my main color and Orly Luxe on my ring fingers. The effect was a hint of holiday while remaining understated enough to carry me into the following days.

I used OPI Nail Envy as my base coat and followed it with three coats of HT,AT and two coats of Luxe. Both polishes have great formulas that I've grown to love and know, and are popular shades. Everything is topped with NYC Grand Central Station which maintained the glossiness of my manicure until it was time for a polish change.

What did you have on your nails over the holidays? Do you already have your New Year's Eve manicure selected? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading!
